Two new patent attorneys for SONN

We are pleased to announce that Rudolf Griss and David Trauner have successfully passed the Austrian patent bar exam and have been entered into the list of Austrian patent attorneys. Both will work for our firm as patent attorneys in the future.

David Trauner completed his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and information technology and his master's degree in energy and automation technology with a focus on control engineering at the Vienna University of Technology. During his studies, David Trauner was accepted into the High Potential Program of the Vienna University of Technology. In addition, David Trauner was already active in our law firm. David Trauner has been qualified as a European Patent Attorney since 2021.

Rudolf Griss studied chemistry at ETH Zurich and the University of Cambridge. After completing his Ph.D. at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), he founded a start-up company in the field of point-of-care diagnostics, which he managed until he joined SONN in 2018. Rudolf Griss has been qualified as a European Patent Attorney since 2022.
