Christmas Donation 2025

Our Christmas donation this year was given to two organizations: Mission Hoffnung – Kinderkrebs Sozialhilfe and Die Tafel Österreich.

Mission Hoffnung has been supporting children in need in Austria since 2007. The organization draws on its experience in business and advertising to raise awareness and implement effective aid projects. Companies and private individuals are invited to contribute their own fundraising initiatives. All funds are allocated transparently and reach those in need directly. A central focus is the Children’s Cancer Social Assistance program: around 300 children in Austria are diagnosed with cancer each year, placing enormous emotional and financial strain on their families. High additional costs often arise, while one parent may have to stop working. The Children’s Cancer Social Assistance program provides families with quick and unbureaucratic financial support—for example, for hospital travel, necessary home modifications, hygiene and nutrition costs, childcare for siblings, or psychological support. This ensures that families receive help exactly where it is needed most.

Die Tafel Österreich has been supplying people affected by poverty with rescued food and other daily necessities free of charge since 1999, working through social institutions. The goal of this cooperation is to help individuals find professionally guided pathways out of hardship. As an independent non-profit organization, Die Tafel Österreich also advocates for the sustainable and responsible use of resources. Awareness-building projects and activities are an essential part of its mission. In doing so, the organization contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 1 ("No Poverty"), 2 ("Zero Hunger"), 3 ("Good Health and Well-being"), 4 ("Quality Education"), 12 ("Responsible Consumption and Production"), 13 ("Climate Action") and 17 ("Partnerships for the Goals").
